I booked my first online ticket today. Flight from Calcutta - Mumbai for 2500 on Air Deccan.
I was very happy and satisfied with the way the online booking was executed. Clean hassle free selection of dates, flight and origin/destination. Payment through ICICI Debit Card ( I thought I would have forgotten my internet banking password ) and the best part - Instant Ticket! I printed my ticket after the transaction was over. So simple. No brokers, no ticket delivery people, no nothing!
This has been one smooth experience.

Enjoy the online convinience while you can. Won't be long before you have to run from Pillai to Pillai to Simblee-Fly.
Actually Rohan , I bungled up big time! I booked Mumbai-Calcutta instead of Calcutta-Mumbai. Lost a cool 300 bucks in the deal. Even the money has not yet returned into my account (I wonder how electronic can become dirty, may be it can go through couple of porn sites....now there is a thought). I am not too happy about that, now I am going Cal-Mum by chuk-chuk gaddi.
I like the Pillai to Pillai touch! Quite nice.
hey adi this is tamal ,i have tried to post messges before here but my system keeps hanging every 30 seconds,and i mean EVERY 30 seconds.Anyway,i look forward to more updates in your blog...as a matter of fat i check it twice a day.One other thing,i wanted to clarify something,the friend that i encouraged to start a blog wasnt rohan,it was a frined called arkava.Actually rohan had started his blog long before i did.I postponed creating a blog because i was planning to get my own website...but this itself is a lot of work.Last but not the least,congrats on your convocation.That smile on your face depicts you in a extra "happy" state!
